Title: A misunderstood truth
Author: Dawn of Age
Pairing: Arthur/Merlin.
Rating: Depending, I'll put M15+ just to play safe.
Wordcount for this chapter: 1,797
Warnings: By timeline-wise, this goes by the BBC series of Pride & Prejudice, so some dialogue will be taken from that, as well as from BBC Merlin. Also this is an AU where homosexuality is beginning to be slowly accepted, however much it is not generally talked about in polite society. This is placed for this pairing to work. Also the same with canon!Merlin, the people of colour (no insult intended) are within society.
Summary: Merlin Emrys' early determination to dislike Mr. Pendragon - who is quite the most handsome and eligible bachelor - is a misjudgement only matched in folly by Pendragon's arrogant pride.

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are getting MARRIED!
CONGRATULATIONS!
See this is a good example of brave people loving whoever they love. Whether it be of different religions, nationalities or even of the same gender. They're brave because for years being gay as negative connotations, such as that crap about being gay you'll DEFINATELY get HIV/AIDS, or that it's a sin (seriously the bible was not sent down by fax from god (reference: The Da Vinci Code)). They've seriously been in battle on many fronts.
LABELS, I really dislike it when people place different people with labels. Like Gays, Lesbos, Fags, Homosexuals (it maybe a bit technical, but still a label), bi, straight, metro. Not only that, but also blacks, whites, yellow, Poms, Wogs, Yanks, Skips, etc. I know it's a norm for these types of labels to be placed on people, but still I hate when it's used in a derogative way.
